BQB (Bluetooth Qualification Body) certification is the mandatory compliance program for any product using Bluetooth technology. Administered by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), it ensures devices meet Bluetooth standards for interoperability and RF performance.
BQB certification applies to all Bluetooth product manufacturers (finished devices), chip/module suppliers and development tool vendors, covering all versions of classic Bluetooth and low-power Bluetooth (BLE). Uncertified products are not allowed to use the Bluetooth trademark.
To obtain BQB certification, manufacturers must: join the Bluetooth SIG, complete RF/protocol testing (2-4 weeks), submit a Declaration ID (DID), and register products in the End Product List (EPL) for full Bluetooth trademark compliance.
Channels such as Amazon and Walmart require BQB certification. Huak offers specialized BQB test services, as uncertified products face the risk of being removed from shelves, being subject to legal prosecution and detention by customs, and insurance may also refuse to cover related product liabilities.
Ensure device interoperability, reduce market access risks, legally use Bluetooth trademarks, and enhance consumer confidence in product reliability. The bqb certification validity period is bound to SIG membership.
