Recently, with the continuous upgrading of EU PFAS regulations, especially the full entry into force of the new standard EN 17681-1:2025, SHEIN has officially tightened PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) compliance requirements for textile products sold to the EU market to strengthen overall regulatory risk control.Numerous sellers have received official platform notifications.Below is a clear guideline to help you fully understand the control rules and avoid product delisting risks.

New compliance rules are implemented separately for France and other EU member states:
Products sold to France:Effective immediately, both the Self-Declaration of Conformity and qualified PFAS test reports must be uploaded.
Products sold to other EU countries (excluding the UK):Complete the submission of the Self-Declaration of Conformity and PFAS test reports before June 30, 2026.
Products without complete required documents will be delisted by the platform in accordance with local EU laws and regulations.
All textile products exported to the EU are subject to PFAS compliance inspection.Two categories are highlighted for priority preparation:
1. General Products
All apparel (including children's clothing), footwear (including children's shoes) and juvenile textile goods, regardless of functional features, must submit the Self-Declaration of Conformity.
2. High-Risk Functional Products
Items with water-repellent, oil-proof, stain-resistant, windproof and other special functions.Due to special production processes, such products are highly likely to contain PFAS. Besides the conformity declaration, qualified PFAS test reports are mandatory.
Sellers shall declare that all listed textile products are free from restricted PFAShttps://www.huak-cer.com/certifications/reach-compliance-certificate/ substances.Please fill in and submit the document strictly in accordance with the official SHEIN template.One single declaration is valid for multiple SKUs under the same store.No repeated submission is required.

All reports must be issued by an accredited qualified laboratory and meet EU official recognition standards.Mandatory key information is as follows:
Product details: Full product name, specifications and SKU code, fully consistent with SHEIN background information;
Manufacturer information: Complete legal name, address and contact information for full traceability;
Testing scope: Cover at least 36 types of PFAS substances with corresponding CAS numbers; fully comply with the latest standard EN 17681-1:2025.

Please conduct an internal self-inspection for your listed products and finish document submission as soon as possible.Delayed submission or non-compliant documents will directly lead to product removal from shelves,resulting in order losses and store reputation risks.Only authentic and valid laboratory test reports are accepted.Forged documents are strictly prohibited.Violators will face legal liabilities and negative compliance rating penalties on the platform.
