August 30,2026.Products that fail to complete TIC verification before the deadline will have their listings forcibly removed and sales privileges restricted by the platform.Severe violations will lead to store fund freezes,as well as potential complaints from peers and platform penalties.

Amazon US site enforces dual mandatory testing for complete appliances + batteries. Each product category corresponds to exclusive UL standards that cannot be mixed and matched:
1. Cleaning equipment(vacuum cleaners/floor washers):UL 1017; additional UL 499 for steam cleaners
2. Kitchen food processing appliances:UL 982
3. Fans/air purifiers:UL 507;standalone UL 998 for humidifiers
4. Wireless hair styling appliances:UL 859
5. Heat pumps,air conditioners and dehumidifiers:UL 60335-1 + UL 60335-2-40
6. Lithium battery chargers: Any one of UL 1012 / UL 1310 / UL 60335-2-29
7. Built-in lithium batteries:Either UL 1642 or UL 2054,with mandatory supporting UN38.3 transportation test report
All products must obtain a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) after completing UL testing.CPSC eFiling online electronic declaration is mandatory for all products starting July 8, 2026.

Sellers operating in European markets cannot directly apply US UL reports. Products must be tested in accordance with the EN IEC 60335 series standards by category:
· General basic standard: EN IEC 60335-1
· Vacuum cleaners: 60335-2-2; Hair care appliances: 60335-2-23
· Kitchen machinery: 60335-2-14; Fans: 60335-2-80
· Special standard for battery chargers:EN IEC 60335-2-29;Power adapters must comply with the supporting EN 61558 series standards.A complete set of test reports is required for CE certification issuance.
The platform specifies four categories of mandatory compliance documents. Missing any item will result in audit rejection:
01 Basic Product Information:
Complete brand name, model number and part number, fully displayed on the product detail page
02 Third-Party Laboratory Test Reports:
Complete UL/EN safety test reports corresponding to the product category
03 Certificate of Insurance (COI):
Mandatory for Amazon US site;TIC verification cannot be passed without this document
04 Complete Compliance Documents:
GCC certificate,UN38.3 battery transportation report, and compliant labeling documents
Key Reminder: Most listing removals occur because sellers only complete battery testing while ignoring complete appliance safety standards,or mix US and EU certification standards.
Confusing UL Test Reports with UL Certification:
The platform only requires UL test reports, not UL certification that requires annual factory audits.Blindly applying for certification will only increase unnecessary costs.
Failure to Update Expired Reports:
UL test reports older than 12 months are deemed invalid and require re-sampling and re-testing.
Incorrect Standard Matching:
Using kitchen appliance UL standards for cleaning equipment audits will result in direct rejection and rectification requests from TIC bodies.
Unauthorized Report Modification or Forged UL Marking:
UL certification marks shall not be printed on test reports.Forgery involves trademark infringement and will lead to aggravated platform penalties on stores.
Only Conducting Battery Testing While Ignoring Complete Appliance Safety Compliance:
Complete appliance UL safety testing is a fundamental requirement. Battery-only test reports cannot support DV verification completion.
